Searching for electrovac solutions to Einstein--Maxwell equations with the help of computer algebra system GRG-EC

An example of application of the specialized computer algebra system Grg-ECto the searching for solutions to the source-free Maxwell and Einstein--Maxwellequations is demonstrated. The solution involving five arbitrary functions oftwo variables is presented in explicit form (up to quadratures). An emphasis ismade on the characterizing of the software utilized.
